Does anyone in the world actually enjoy ironing? I'm just wondering. Everyone I talk to hates it and thinks I'm crazy for doing it at all. I wonder how they make it out of the house without having ironed clothes to wear. I mean, really...ironing isn't nearly as bad as wrinkles. Look at all the media chicks. They have their clothes and faces ironed. Shouldn't we at least iron our clothes? Well, I think so. I don't like it, but it has to be done...so I ironed Monday night after Girl Scouts. I don't iron everything. Just the stuff with wrinkles. Some stuff just gets fluffed if it sits too long before folding. Anyway, I got a lot done in a couple of hours: 3 skirts, 4 pants, 6 shorts, 12 dresses and 18 shirts...thought I was doing really good and then I realized I had 3 more loads of laundry that weren't in the ironing pile yet. Oh well...I'll see if I can top my record another day (56 dresses in one afternoon...four girls are a lot to keep up with when the seasons change!). For now, everyone has some smooth clothes to wear. And I have a crick in the top right side of my back...
Bowling...although fun...is also stinky. Why must everyone smoke while bowling? I mean, I don't smoke and I'm feeling pretty good about my 131 average right now...and it will probably come up a bit after this week since I bowled a 166 in my second game! I wonder if I'd bowl even better with a cigarette hangin' out of the front of my face...hmmmm. I'll stick to Mr. Pibb.
And maybe next week I won't iron for two hours the day before bowling...

Ironing stinks, but bowling smells like smoke.

I think my mom used to like to iron, but she was from the generation that did that sort of thing for fun. She prob didn't bowl tho. :) We went bowling this summer. The bowling alley was in a smoke free town--nice! It cost $50 and I think we got 2 games. My average per ball was about 50 cents a pin. Think I broke 50 once and a bit more the next time. Was wondering if they'd put those bumpers up for me. :) Glad you are more successful. Keep em rolling.
56 dresses in one afternoon?!?! That's crazy fast ironing!!!
